Terms of service
Last updated: June 29, 2026
1. Entertainment only — the most important term
Judgily produces fictional, AI-generated comedy in the form of a mock court ruling. A “verdict” is a creative performance, not a finding of fact, not legal advice, not a contract, not arbitration, and not binding on anyone. The judges are invented personas, not real people or licensed professionals. No attorney-client, mediator, or judicial relationship is created. If you have a real dispute, talk to a real lawyer.
2. Everything here is fictional
Names, scenarios, “case numbers,” and rulings are treated as a creative writing prompt and a satirical response to it. Output about a scenario you describe is fiction about a hypothetical, even if you typed a real first name. You agree not to present a Judgily page as evidence, as a factual account of any real person, or as a real adjudication, anywhere, ever.
3. No reliance
You agree not to rely on any verdict, finding, or “award” for any real-world decision — legal, financial, medical, relational, or otherwise. Any action you take after reading a Judgily verdict is entirely your own choice and your own responsibility.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to accept these terms in your jurisdiction. By using Judgily you affirm both.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit content that:
- Depicts abuse, threats, violence, self-harm, or genuine ongoing harm (refused at the input layer and by the judge).
- Names a real, identifiable public figure as a party. Use a generic descriptor (“my coworker,” “her ex”) instead.
- Identifies a private third party by full name plus employer or city, or includes anyone's email, phone, or government ID.
- Promotes illegal activity, harassment, doxxing, or hate speech.
- Spams the service or attempts to evade rate-limits by rotating identifiers.
We may refuse, redact, mark private, or permanently remove any case at our sole discretion. Repeat violators are banned without refund.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the text you submit. By submitting it you confirm you have the right to do so and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to process it, generate a fictional verdict from it, and — if the case is public — display that page and its share card. You can revoke this for any case by deleting it from /account/cases; the page and assets are removed promptly.
7. Defendant rights
If a case is filed with a defendant's email, that person gets a 24-hour window to submit a defense, mark the case private, or block it. If they block it, no verdict is generated. After 24 hours of silence the case may become public. Any named party can request takedown at any time via hello@judgily.com and we will honor it.
8. Subscriptions & billing
Judgily is currently free for everyone during the launch period, with a daily cap of 5 cases per visitor. Paid tiers are temporarily disabled in the UI. If we re-introduce paid plans, billing will continue to run through Stripe, plans will renew monthly in USD until cancelled, and you'll manage them at /account/billing. We don't pro-rate or refund partial periods, and any price changes will be announced before they take effect and never apply retroactively.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Judgily is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Because the entire product is fiction for entertainment, we are not liable for any decision you make after reading a verdict, any reputational or emotional consequence of a case you chose to create or share, or any third-party action. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability is capped at the greater of USD $20 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (which for free users is zero).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Judgily from any claim arising out of content you submitted, your misuse of the service, or your sharing of a verdict page — including any claim by a person you named in a case.
11. Termination
You may stop using Judgily and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or to comply with the law. Sections that by their nature should survive — the fiction disclaimers, no-reliance, liability, and indemnification — survive termination.
12. Dispute resolution
If you have a dispute with us, email hello@judgily.com first and give us 30 days to make it right; we will work with you in good faith. If it can't be resolved informally, these terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of residence, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts there, individual claims only, no class actions.
13. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date changes when we do, and material changes are flagged in a banner for 30 days. Continued use after a change is acceptance. For everything — questions, takedowns, billing, legal, anything — email hello@judgily.com. It is the only address we use.
